Anti Wrinkle Anti Aging Products - The Ingredients Make A Difference!

Don’t buy anti wrinkle anti aging products, unless you know a little something about the ingredients.  The average anti-wrinkle creams on the market have caused many adverse reactions.  All that you need do is read some consumer reviews to learn that.  And, don’t fall for the “free” trials, either.

Recently, I was asked to evaluate the ingredients in one of the popular anti wrinkle anti aging products.  It is made by one of the companies that offer a free trial.  According to one consumer, you are required to provide your credit card number.  If you do not return the anti-wrinkle within 30 days, your credit card is charged for the full amount.

If you do decide to return it, you must pay for shipping it back to the company.  Remember to read the fine print and get all of the details, if you don’t want to end up feeling like you’ve been ripped off.

With a quick glance at the list of ingredients in anti wrinkle anti aging products, I can tell you if you are likely to have an allergic reaction.  I can also tell you if any of the ingredients are likely to work.  Here’s a quick look at some of the common ingredients that you will see in anti-wrinkle cream.

The list should help you avoid the “bad” stuff.

  • Collagen (marine), ineffective, but not likely to cause allergic reaction
  • Phenoxyethanol and parabens are artificial preservatives and the most common causes of redness, itching and rashes
  • Sodium methyl-paraben, banned in some countries, but still commonly used in the US, causes de-pigmentation and sun sensitivity
  • Ethanol, a petroleum-based alcohol, included as an astringent or tightening agent, common allergen
  • Citric acid, a bleaching agent, causes excessive dryness
  • Urea, used to soften, another common allergen
  • Placental protein, not likely to be effective, contains hormones
  • Protein is a good ingredient for anti-wrinkle lotion, as long as it is a protein that can be used by the skin’s cells.  It actually has to be tiny protein fragments, known as peptides.  Otherwise, your skin’s cells cannot use them.

The best anti wrinkle anti aging products contain a protein peptide complex called CYNERGY TK.  It has clinically proven effectiveness for improving firmness and reducing wrinkles.  It is an effective moisturizer and has antioxidant activity, important for preventing and repairing free radical damage.  In addition, the peptide complex reduces redness caused by inflammation.

For softening, the best ingredient for anti-wrinkle night-cream is Shea butter.  There are many different grades of Shea butter.  Some are of course better than others.  You want one that is cold-pressed, free of artificial preservatives and free of added fragrances.

If you want a whitener, look for an extract from the Nut grass plant.  It is much safer than urea and other chemical bleaches.

Look for anti wrinkle anti aging products that contain plant-based alcohols and natural vitamin E as a preservative.

One company offers a 90 day guarantee, even on opened bottles.  That’s the best deal around.
